John has always enjoyed reading novels of mystery and suspense. The Hardy Boys and The Three Investigators were early favorites that became the foundation of his growing book collection. It was those simple, early literary collections that prefaced his becoming an author.

For many years, John’s education and long hours at work took priority over his writing career. The interesting places that were figuratively traveled to in hundreds of novels translated into a career in hotel management that spanned several decades. John’s caring manner toward guests that arrived from all corners of the earth was central to who he is as a person and is reflected in his writing style.

With changing times came new careers and new directions. John returned to scholarly pursuits in the fields of finance and accounting, complementing his skills as a business manager and entrepreneur. When he’s not working, which isn’t often, John enjoys spending time with family and entertaining friends at home. John is passionate about earth and animal causes and the beaches of the Atlantic seaboard are his choice for vacations.

John holds an undergraduate business degree from Millersville University and graduate degrees in finance and accounting from Wilmington University in Delaware, where he is an adjunct instructor.
